Researcher: Reverend Ross Duncan
BCom (UNE), Grad Dip Div (ACT), MM (Pastoral Counselling) (CSU), Grad Dip Th (CSU), Grad Cert Supervision (SMTC).

The researcher for this study is Reverend Ross Duncan, a student completing DMin qualifications through the ACT.
Ross has over 16 years in ministry with extensive experience in pastoral counselling, supervision and coaching, and has facilitated two Return to Ministry exploration projects. He has also worked in both private, not for profit and higher education sectors.
In counselling, he has established his own practice in Melbourne, “Christian Life Support” and specialises in trauma related and relationship areas.

Diane is a Faculty member at Ridley College, Melbourne, Australia where she works as Educational Designer, developing undergraduate and graduate level online theology courses and facilitating faculty development in learning and teaching.
She has a PhD in Education from Macquarie University which focuses on using learning design to promote holistic formation of students in theological education. She is part of the team of Ridley Faculty who are available to supervise research students in the Ministry & Practice areas and serves on the Research Ethics Committee of SMBC.
Diane's research interests and publications are in the areas of spiritual formation, pedagogy, distance and online education, learning design and educational technology. She also works as a consultant with Local Leaders International as part of a team supporting and extending global theological educators’ competency and capacity for online and distance teaching.

The research program comes under the auspice of the Australian College of Theology (ACT) of which Ridley College is a consortium member. Within the ACT’s Graduate School of Research training, support and oversight is provided to Higher Degree Research students to foster and direct the systematic study of theology and other disciplines related to Christian ministry, thought and practice.
